ART

West Wales Art Centre

West Wales Arts Centre was founded in 1987 and has established a fine reputation for introducing exciting contemporary painting and sculpture by established and emerging artists.

The gallery is recognised for the important role it continues to play in the development of both artist and art form.

Gallery Space

Following a successful exhibition of the North Pembrokeshire Open Studios members at the gallery in August, it is now time for the NPOS Art Trail which begins on the 31st August until the 15th September, where artists open their studios to the public. Fine Art Jeweller Ami Pepper, works here from West Wales Arts Centre throughout the year, her beautiful treasures reinterpret the textures, forms and colours of seaweed and shells washed in by the tide, and barnacle in rock pools as sculptural rings, earrings and necklaces.

All information of artists involved, their studio location and open times are available from the website or the NPOS Art Trail leaflets. This is a wonderful way to meet and support our local artists working in ceramics-pottery, sculptures, printmaking, textiles, jewellery and paintings.
